Wrapping Up Season 2019 with An American Classic: Our Town

We’re coming down to the final few rehearsals before our presentation of Thornton Wilder’s classic Our Town.

If you’ve always thought about Our Town as just “that play I read in 10th Grade” – we’re anxious to change your mind.

No less than “Tony” Award and Pulitzer Prize Winner Edward Albee called Our Town “…the greatest American play ever written.”

The New York Times said “[Our Town is] an immortal tale of small town morality [and] a classic of soft-spoken theater.”

The New York Daily News said of Our Town “No American play describes more powerfully how we imagine ourselves.”

If you long to be reminded of simple American ways of life, there’s no tonic like Our Town, a play that revels in the joys and sorrows of daily living.

Performances of Our Town will begin on Friday, October 4 and continue through October 20th.  Friday and Saturday shows are at 7:30, Sundays (10/13 and 10/20) at 2:30.  General Admission tickets are just $22.  Click HERE to reserve your seats today!

We’re very excited to be preparing our announcement of  Playhouse 2000’s Season 2020 including our Holiday Special for this year.

We’ll launch our Season Brochure at performances of Our Town.
