Season 2018 Opens with Jeeves Takes a Bow

“Hilarious!!”  That’s a quote from our own TD Nick Boland after seeing his first run-through rehearsal of the new comedy set to open P2K’s Season 2018, Jeeves Takes a Bow.

Based on the characters and stories created by P.G. Wodehouse, Margaret Raether has created a stage play with enough laughs to keep the VK Garage Theater warm through the dark days of February.

In Jeeves Takes a Bow we find Bertie Wooster, the rich, oh-so-British, and comically inept “hero” of our story (Mitch Mitchell,) taking an extended holiday in New York, accompanied by his miraculously efficient butler, Jeeves (Houston Glover).  When Bertie finds himself in deep trouble (as he always does) involving mistaken identity (Eloy Ochoa), a Broadway chorus girl (Amanda Radkiewicz), an honest-to-goodness gangster (Mark Sturm) and the threat of marriage (Sherri Steadham), Jeeves (as he always does) comes to the rescue in spectacular fashion.

You’ll want to mark your calendars now to be sure and visit with Bertie and Jeeves beginning on February 2nd for three weekends at the VK Garage.  As always, ticket reservations are recommended – get yours HERE, or by calling (830) 896-9393 today!
