P2K Enters AACT One Act Festival with FUDDY MEERS

Two years ago a group of P2K Actors and Crew set out on a journey that took them to State and Regional awards and national recognition in the American Association of Community Theater’s One-Act-Play competition.

The festival of one-acts takes place every two years, and includes competition at the local, State, Regional and National levels every two years.

P2K’s 2017 entry is the dark comedy Fuddy Meers by modern master David Lindsay Abaire.  This unusual piece uses outrageous comedy to highlight the tragedy of domestic abuse. An odd mix that creates a stunning evening of theater.

You’ll have a chance to see a preview of the P2K entry on Thursday, January 26th at 7:30 in The Cailloux Theater.  This event is free, and will last about an hour and a half.

Then, you can enjoy the full Quad-III Clinic on Saturday, January 28th beginning at 2:00 with a performance of Mrs. Mannerly by the Boerne Community Theater, followed by our show.  After a dinner break, the Bastrop Opera House will present their production of Freakshow at 7:00.  Tickets are $20 for all three, and single-event tickets are also available.  All events are in The Cailloux Theater.

Please note that Fuddy Meers does include some “adult” language, so it’s meant for grown-ups.
