Next in Season 2018 – Impossible Marriage

A Modern Comedy of Manners by Beth Henley
After weeks of analysis, study and preparation, the cast and crew of Beth Henley’s improbably comedy Impossible Marriage are set to open a three weekend run tomorrow night.Performances continue through July 1 – Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30, with SundayMatinees on June 24 and July 1 at 2:30.

The youngest daughter of wealthy Kandall Kingsley, Pandora, is about to be wed to a world-famous author more than twice her age. Older and hugely pregnant sister, Floral, is ready to assist with – or is it to disrupt? – the wedding.

The groom’s oldest son has arrived with an important

message from his father’s first wife.  Floral’s high-society husband, ostensibly the father of her child, looks on, and Reverend Jonathan Larence is on hand to officiate.

But, given the playwright’s quirky sense of humor, it is inevitable that this particular wedding will not proceed exactly as planned.

Impossible Marriage features P2K veterans Barbara French as “Kandall,” Amy Goodyear as “Floral,” Marcus Goodyear as husband “Jonsey,” Ken DeZarn as the groom, “Edvard Lunt,” and Ethan Van Fossen as his son, “Sidney.”  Back on the stage after a absence of several years is Dale R Green as “Rev. Larence,” and making her

Playhouse 2000 debut as “Pandora” is Sharlaina Lowrey.”

The show was directed by Jeffrey Brown, and Kerri Sparkman is the Stage Manager.  Taylor Sparkman works the Sound and Light boards.
