The brand new Youth Theater Program will present Jonathan Yuckich’s Alice @ Wonderland, a high-tech take on the classic tale of Alice and her adventures with the White Rabbit, the Cheshire Cat, the Mad Hatter, and the rest.

The show features more than 20 young people (see the complete list, below) under the direction of Sarah Distel, whose work at Playhouse 2000 is made possible by a grant from The Cailloux Foundation.

The evening will also include our youngest actors in their portrayal of Maurice Sendak’s Where the Wild Things Are, narrated by Chris (King of Siam) Distel.

The public is invite to performances on October 18 and 19 at 7:3IMG_24650 and October 20 at 2:30. Tickets are just $7.50 for adults, $5 for children.

This new program is sponsored by Joan Bryson and The Hill Country Charity Ball Association. We hope you’ll make plans now to attend the Ball on Saturday, May 3rd, 2014 at the Schreiner University Ballroom.IMG_2451
