A Christmas Carol Finishes an Outstanding Run

 Playhouse 2000 owes a great debt to all of the people who made our recently completed run of A Christmas Carol so successful.  In addition to the outstanding cast (see pictures in prior EBlasts) we offer these special thank-yous

  • Thanks to Tish Miller for her work painting and dressing sets, helping with makeup and hair, and working back-stage to be sure everything moved along smoothly;
  • Thanks to Carol Maryan for coordinating all of our props;
  • Thanks to Darcey Wagner and Heather Cunningham for trading out at the Light/Sound Control Boards (the show included more than 80 cues in just 70 minutes!);
  • Thanks to Kathleen Keen and Roxie Orms for their help with refreshments;
  • Thanks to Jim Boman for hand-making the colorful scarves that each character wore;
  • Thanks to Amy Goodyear for pulling and coordinating all of the costumes;
  • Thanks to Nick Boland for designing the lights and sound that worked so well;
  • And a big Thank You to Sarah Distel, the show’s Stage Manager.

    I went into the theater remembering what the usual Christmas Carol was like, although I shouldn’t have since I’d seen the set. The play that evening was true to the story, but done in an entirely new (to me) fashion. I liked it very much. The wife and my in-laws talked about it all the way home.

    I have season passes and went to get my seats for this weekends showing of Christmas Carol. I can not do Sunday. So I will not get season passes again. You should not be sold out if season pass holders have not checked in. So for my seat you got paid twice. I was trying to get two season tickets booked for this weekend and was told you were sold out. So I did not get my season pass holder discount since I do not get to see the last show.

      Kathy – so sorry you were not able to get tickets to A CHRISTMAS CAROL. We did try to get in as many season ticket holders as we could, but the VK Garage has very limited seating and season passes do not guarantee a seat because we allow our pass holders to select their performance date and time rather than making reservations for you. Our season pass coupons indicate that you do have to redeem them for seats – they are not tickets themselves. I do hope you will reconsider getting season passes as they save you quite a bit over purchasing tickets individually.
