The photographer from the local newspaper is here, and the eight Sisters who gather every other Friday for an evening of Bridge and gossip look forward to their appearance in the Rotogravure of 1934. As they play their contracts, the ladies expound on a wide variety of topics, and when we meet them again ten years later, very little has changed – though everything is different. A funny, moving, generous play about family and mutual support. Let us ‘deal you in’ for a night you won’t forget.
